This year the minimum passing score for the Maryland bar exam is 266, according to the National Conference of Bar Examiners. The LSAT costs more than $200 and the bar exam is close to $1,000. The non-profit also offers programs to introduce undergraduate and high school students to law school and other legal career opportunities. Those responsibilities can lead to less time to prepare for the bar exam, which is extremely important because the bar exam decides how well you are prepared for the exam and not how well you know the law, George said.

CNN —About 9% of adults across 30 countries around the world identify as LGBTQ, according to a new Ipsos poll. The survey released Thursday indicates Millennials and Gen Zers are more likely to identify as queer, bisexual, pansexual, omnisexual, or asexual than older generations. Respondents included more than 22,514 adults under the age of 75 in 30 countries who answered the survey online between February 17 and March 3. Among the countries surveyed, the survey shows more than half of respondents said they support same-sex marriage where it is legal. Women are also significantly more likely than men to support same-sex marriage, the survey said.

CNN —A growing percentage of Indigenous and Black parents in the United States reported that their children have faced racist experiences, according to a study published in the Journal of Osteopathic Medicine. The study looked at parental reporting of racist experiences their children faced between 2016 and 2020. By comparison, 1% of parents of White children reported their kids had faced discrimination in 2016, and that increased to 1.7% in 2020.
